Clematis

Yes we are allowed to speak of the weather. As we watched the hurricane bear down on our friends in the United Sates, and saw the aftermath on television, it was a time of “how can that be “scenes of destruction not seen in my lifetime filled the screen. We here in Victoria had two beautiful days of sunshine followed by a stinker of a day that drained the body so that sitting down and doing nothing sounded good. However yesterday it was back to heater on, jumpers on, stay out of the garden or get wet. 10 c outside , so I decided to do some cooking . No photos but I did make small queen cakes iced in pink and the pink ribbon logo for the Breast Cancer evening “ The Girls night in “. I used a small paint brush dipped in water to make the pink ribbon symbol, then sprinkled Strawberry jelly crystals on top , and shook the excess off.  Then I made vanilla slices made with the Lattice biscuits and piped pink ribbons on those and made a cheese topped brownie slice. At the Girls Night In we watched the film The Way with Martin Sheen, excellent night out.

.The Clematis are looking lovely, along with the roses and Sweet Peas. Can someone tell me how to get the taskbar back to normal?I only have sign in new post in the right hand corner. Please email me with the answer as I can’t read comments.

The Radox Rose was a sure winner with Alstromea.
