Andrea went to the Stitch in Spring in Simpson by Gum Valley Patchwork last Spring and bought home a goodie bag , which I have had the pleasure of making some of the contents. One was a Spring Flowers Pocket designed by Gail Pan.

Another was Bluebird Needle case designed by Lenora Jenkins. Now I read through the instructions and cut out the material as directed and started to follow the directions, hmm hmm. When I was nearly finished I looked and bagged the work out then thought ‘ Gee this could have been easier , but no worries it looks alright. Clearing away the material I found on the cutting table

2 strips 21-4 INCH (BINDING)

Now that would have been easier binding  instead of bagging.

Looking out the window at the wind , I thought I would like a wind sock, so made one .
This is the view of the back yard from my sewing window.

And around the back door is Be a Flower Pot Man

The bike that I usually ride for twenty minutes or more,
and this Clematis has been flowering since October,, climbing through the Honey Suckle  - a great position as long as the roots are in the shade and watered and feed well , just like us we flower and grow .
The rose in the last post was Lady X , A real charmer .
I took photos of the front but the sun was shining too fiercely so I will wait for a cooler day. In the 30s again this week How I love summer , keep it coming. Cheers Margaret
