Christmas Day was without drama at Geelong and Cobden which makes you think how fickle weather is and the damage done by hail, rain and wind in Melbourne and the N.E. suburbs.
The kiss wasn't quite captured here, but as you can see Abbey looking good and making progress at an amazing rate, she has a determined spirit and her brain is still young enough to learn. Her brother took her in to Camperdown on Christmas Eve where she met up with friends that she hadn't seen since the acccident , and what with the hype that Christmas Day extols she had a few nanny naps through the day. Abbey has a new black cocker spaniel puppy , Daisy Mae has a lovely nature and Abbey took her for a walk during the day,I would estimate that in another six months she will be back to her old self with energy and thought process levels back to normal. So Christmas Day was a day for celebration, in more ways than one.
Me and the lovely cards Donna sent in the parcel of love posted to Andrea in the way of a T.I.S. hanging. Reading the wishes and sentiments on the cards from the girls bought tears to the eyes .
Keithums, blinds down A.C. full on and over 30 outside.
Darren , Ben and Andrea, looking happy , yes Ben was happy that is his thoughtfull pose.
A gremlin that got into my camera, Do you believe that this person will be teaching in a Western District High School on the Glenelg Highway in 2012.
Now here is a better phot of the gremlin. He is the eldest grandchild.
Needless to say we had a lovely day,

Compassion / The Greatest Virtue
Do to others what you would have them do to you - A saying as old as 479 BC.
Today I witnessed this Virtue from the family of Bloggers.
During the Christmas season we have noticed that we don't get more or less than 4 letters or combined parcels a day. This morning the post was early and the three letters arrived and a parcel from Dzintra
This lovely Christmas tree decoration and card were enclosed. I can't wait 'till Christmas morning to open my pressies. Thank You Dzintra.
So with a happy heart I began to do the Christmas baking bikkies and shortbread, and rocky road which reminds me that is still in the refrigerator getting cold ( note to Margaret) ( find a container and ).
Two kinds of Rice Bubble biscuits, another with cornflakes, melting moments with passion fruit icing, dutch ginger slice.
While I was cooking the phone rang, I gave the cheery Merry Christmas, it was Andrea .
Go on Skype!!!
Tears , Love, Compassion, Depth.
What more can I say go over and look at what was sent to Andrea and made by some wonderful bloggers and organised by Saint Donna alias Chooky Blue.
We are not the only family to have had an
Annus Horribilis as Queen Elizabeth 11 said in 1992 "It is not a year on which I shall look back with undiluted pleasure in ".
However Blogging does keep you sane and focused otherwise you wouldn't be able to sew straight.
Until I came back again with Christmas Photos ( we are going down to Cobden ) I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and remembering that Jesus is the reason for the season and answered prayer from so many bloggers Adieu. Margaret

Op Shop, Owls and who knows?
I had a pattern from Annie Downs of a pincushion with a lamb, but got sidetracked on the way.
Thought Margaret to herself , this is Owl material, So I made a pattern cut it out.
sewed and stuffed with polyfill and small stones , gave him a branch filled with stones to perch on and a tail. Do you know Owls don't have ears , it is there feathers that give that appereance and some have a round head, mine has ears , for character, poetic licence.
Still plenty of projects in the coat.
And the pincushion is going on a bookcover
This box of goodies will be broken up into snmall pieces and made into Hmmmm! ?????? don't know, but had to have them as I liked the colours.
